Teams for the HCIT and British Open DTL Championships will be made up as follows:
- Senior – Team of 25 persons with 20 scores to count.
- Lady – Team of 5 persons with 4 scores to count.
- Veteran (60 or over on 01/01/13) – Team of 5 persons with 4 scores to count.
- Junior (under 21 on 01/01/13) – Team of 5 persons with 4 scores to count.
Practice will be available at the venue on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday at a cost of €8 per 25 targets.
The entry fee for the British Open DTL Championships is €50 per person and all payments for entry should be made directly to Esker SG please.
There will be an Open Shoot on the Sunday with a €50 entry fee. Individual entry forms for this shoot and the British Open DTL Championships are attached below.
In addition to the Home Countries International Tournament and the British Open DTL Championships there is an Open Shoot on the Sunday with a €50 entry fee. The aggregate High Gun over Saturday and Sunday plus the highest aggregate score from each class will shoot off on the Sunday evening for a prize of €250.
The post-Tournament banquet and Team photographs will take place at The County Arms Hotel, Birr, Co Offaly (http://www.countyarmshotel.com/ ; Tel: +353 (0) 57 9120791 ; Email: firstname.lastname@example.org). The following special rates have been arranged with The County Arms on a first come basis.
- Accommodation for minimum 4 Nights €89 per room per night
- Accommodation for either 2 or 3 nights €109 per room per night
- Accommodation for 1 night €149 per room
Rates are per room and are based on 1 or 2 persons sharing a Deluxe Twin or Double Bedroom including full Irish breakfast and use of the Springs Leisure Club.
Those attending these events from outside the state will require a visitors firearms certificate and some details on the process plus an application form are attached. The cost per certificate is €40 (plus €5 p+p) and applications plus payment (cheques or drafts made payable to: Esker Shooting Grounds) should be sent to Esker Shooting Grounds, C/O Banagher Street, Cloghan, Co Offaly.
The minimum age for the granting of a visitors certificate is 16 and therefore all applicants MUST be a minimum of this age at the time of the event and we would like to remind you that a licence is required for each firearm. We would request that applications for visitors certificates be made at least 28 days in advance of the event to allow for processing.
